Harrison County Hospital offers a variety of outpatient rehabilitation services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Rehabilitation.  Our physical, occupational and speech therapists treat a variety of diagnoses ranging from neurological conditions to orthopedic conditions focusing on impairments that limit everyday life and activities in a wide range of patients. Their skill sets include using evidenced based practices to provide manual therapy, pain management, movement recovery, sports medicine, regain functional abilities, vestibular therapy, hand therapy, visual/perception training, cognitive rehab, speech and language rehab, and treatment of swallowing deficits.

Our Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs are accredited by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVRP) recognizing the use of the most advanced practices available.  Our staff develops individualized programs including exercise, education, counseling, and support for patients and their families for individuals with cardiac and pulmonary conditions in order to promote quicker recovery and improved quality of life.

Meet our Staff:

Iris Wiseman, PT, DPT

Iris grew up in Corydon and now resides with her family in Palmyra.  She graduated from Bellarmine University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010 and has been a member of the rehab team at HCH since 2015.  Iris has experience working in acute care setting, sub-acute rehabilitation, and outpatient services providing services to populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.  Since working at Harrison County Hospital she has expanded her skill sets in manual therapy and vestibular rehab.  She is committed to providing evidenced based services to her patients.

Hannah Meador, PT, DPT

Hannah earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2018. During her time at Virginia Tech, Hannah was a pole vaulter for the Track & Field team. Hannah went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Indiana University in 2021.

Hannah has spent time coaching pole vault and enjoys working with athletes. She also has a passion for working with the geriatric population to promote living long, happy and healthy lives.

Hannah enjoys the outdoors, hiking, kayaking and caring for her dachshund.

Angela DeKrieger, OTR/L

Angela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health and Human Services and earned a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Deanna Behr, PTA

Deanna grew up in Elizabeth where she still resides. She graduated in 1991  from Jefferson Community College with her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy. Deanna has worked in Physical Therapy in Harrison County for over 25 years. She has experience working in a sub acute setting, home health, sub acute rehabilitation and outpatient services.  She loves working with the geriatric population and listening to their life experiences. Deanna married her high school sweetheart and has 2 wonderful children.  She enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
