On Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Christmas Eve and News Years Eve, Afters Care will be OPEN from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Monthly class accredited by the American Association of Diabetic Educators. Class covers information on diabetes management, including: the definition of diabetes, standards of care, nutrition, individual meal-planning, exercise, glucose monitoring, medications and foot care and prevention of complications related to diabetes and additional resources for diabetes support. Harrison County Hospital is offers a program covered by Medicare –> Peripheral Artery Disease Supervised Exercise Therapy Program (PAD SET).

Research has proven that a supervised exercise program increases walking distances and overall functional ability, as well as improves quality of life for patients with intermittent claudication (leg pain while walking) caused by peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
